CPO1 Latajka joined us in 2016, and rose through the ranks to become our Coxswain. 

She stood up our band in 2019, was awarded the Quadra scholarship in 2020. A recipient of the Cadet Medal of Excellence, she was an excellent leader in our ventures into our virtual year. She will be missed.

Bravo Zulu, and we wish you the best in your studies, and upcoming career.

]]><![CDATA[Virtual Training Year]]>Fri, 25 Sep 2020 01:28:01 GMThttps://www.rcsccvictoria.ca/news/virtual-training-yearAs of right now we will be having a virtual year for the beginning of the year. With the planning that we are doing this year, it will remain virtual until January. In compliance with the new and ongoing regulations, we will be using a zoom classroom. On October 1, 2020, we will be running a trial cadet night on zoom to ensure we have worked out all the issues with moving our training to an online forum.

Our senior cadets have been working hard to discover new ways to teach using online forums! 

Band, range and marksmanship, unfortunately, we will not be able to do these functions until further notice. Until further notice we will not be participating in in-person activities. 

As we go through the year, we will update you with more information. 

This is a very new year for us, and we are excited to try new training methods!
